Surya Theertham
Legend has it that Kamadhenu as well as Agni worshipped Lord at this shrine. This Kshetram is referred to as Aadi Rangeswaram in Brahmaanda puranam indicating that this shrine predated Srirangam temple. The theertham is Surya Theertham.
