8. Thiru Aadhanoor

This Divya desam is located about 3kms from Kumbakonam to Swamimalai by road. The moolavar is Aandalakkumaiyan in kidandha thirukkolam. The lord has a marakkal (measuring jar) as his pillow and in the left hand has an Olai and ezhuttani. This denotes that he keeps giving to his devotees. The statues of Thirumangai Azhwar and Kamadhenu are seen in the garbagriha. Thaayar is Ranganaayaki. The vimanam is Pranava vimanam.
