25. THANJAI MAAMANIKKOVIL -1

Thanjai Maamanikkovil temple is about 3 kilometers away from the actual city of Thajavore.  You will get the right directions to this temple only from taxi or auto drivers, since most of the residents of Thanjavore do not know the location of this temple.  This one divya desam is a set of 3 temples on the same road just half a kilometer from each other.  

First of them is Shri.Senkamalavalli nayika sametha Shri.Neelamegha perumal thirukkovil.  The moolavar Neelamegha Perumal is in amarntha thirukkolam (sitting posture) along with Senkamalavalli thayar.  

The gopuram seen here is Soundarya vimanam and theertham is Kannikapushkarni.
