The moolavar is Parthasarathy and also known as Venkatakrishnan in nindra thirukolam. The moolavar is a majestic statue. This is the only kshetram where lord Krishna known as Parthasarathy has a big moustache. In his right hand is the Sangu and the left hand showing his foot, meaning sharanaagathi, reminding his words in Gita, “Maam ekam sharanam vraja”. On his right chest, the vakshastalam is the Mahalakshmi.
