17. Thirukkannapuram
This Divya Desam is near Thiruvarur on the way to Nannilam. The presiding diety is Neelamegha Purumal in nindra thirukkolam. The Perumal here is also known as Sowriraja Perumal. Thayar is Kannapura Nayaki. There are separate sannidhis for Ramanujar and Thirumangai Azhwar. Thirumangai Azhwar was initianted here.
