Maharaja Swethkethu of Surya vamsa did Tapas here in order to attain Vaikunta. As per instructions he did Bhagavad and Bhaagavatha kaingaryam.
He saw Vaikuntanatha Perumal along with Sridevi, Bhoodevi and Neeladevi. Here the utsavar is in the same order. Garudaazhvar is present at the paadhuka.
